Mary grew up the 2nd to the youngest of 11 children. As you might imagine it was hard to get anyone’s attention, but she was never alone, she knew Jesus was with her.  Mary was born and raised here in the Bay Area. She was first married in 1969 at age 19.  For the first two years of marriage she lived in Germany.  Her daughter Valerie was born there in 1971. When she returned home she had three more children, Tammy 1973, Sarah 1979, and Sal 1982. Unfortunately, she and her first husband divorced in 1985. But by God's grace she remarried in 1997 to Pete.  Currently, between the two of them, they have 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren! They are almost always surrounded by family and they love it.

Mary came to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior in 1980, which as she says "saved my life".  Mary is a firm believer that God is in control of all things.  Her faith is strong, believing God will do a better job with her life than she can on her own.  Mary came to Trinity Church in January 2010. Since then she have grown so much. She is now able to pray out loud for someone and speak in front of people which is a huge thing for her because for much of her life she was quiet and alone.  As well as working in the front office three days a week, Mary serves as part of the Women’s Ministry, and as a Greeter on Sunday mornings - watch out she likes to hug!
