Malcolm came to California in September 2011 from England with his wife Donna. She had taught for a year in Santa Clara in 2006 and, after returning to the UK to marry Malcolm in 2007, they moved to Felton in 2011 to set up various youth and children's ministries.

 

As an artist and ordained Baptist minister, Malcolm uses his artwork to design and communicate Bible lessons in both churches and schools. He oversees the Sunday School, Stay N Play, and children’s ministries at Trinity.

 

Donna is a first-grade teacher at Haman School in Santa Clara. They have two wonderful children: Jonathan, born in 2011; and Asiya, born in 2012.  The whole family is keen on sports and outdoor life. Between them, they travel, run, cycle, hike, and Malcolm still tries to play soccer! He also loves to paint, make movies, and write, and is currently working on a novel, a memoir, and the script for a sitcom. Donna and Malcolm are constantly encouraged by the instruction, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding" (Prov. 3:5), believing that the Lord "is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us" (Eph. 3:20).
