Julie's Bio

Julie grew up in Billings, Montana, and when she was 19 years old, she joined the Army and worked as a Personnel Administration Specialist. She was stationed at Fort Ord, Ca for most of her Army career, and ended her time in the service at Fort Sill, Ok. She went to college in Oklahoma and earned a Masters in Education (Elementary Education/Curriculum). Because she loved the Bay Area, and had close family members who lived here, she took a job teaching in Fremont, CA, and she has been an elementary school teacher since 1996.

She accepted Jesus as her Savior when she was 8 years old ,but didn't really put Him "Lord" of her life until she was in her 20s. When she was in the Army, she strayed away from the Lord, made a lot of bad choices, but eventually came back to rededicate her life when she left the service. In 1997, she started attending Trinity Church, and met her soon to be husband, Dave, in the singles' group. They were married and have two children, Brandon (age 20), and Rachel (age 16).

Serving the Lord through ministry at Trinity (especially through women's ministry and small groups), Julie has grown in her faith through many ups and downs in her life. She loves Trinity Church, the people in it, and she is honored to serve and now work in the church. She loves being back in an admin role, and she currently is teaching part time and working in the church office part time.

During leisure time, Julie loves to walk along the trails at the ocean, read, do some gardening and hang out with her family and friends. She has two rescue dogs , Luna (a boxer), and Cash (a black lab).

She loves her church family, and she hopes she can be blessing to everyone at Trinity, glorify the Lord, and bring others to Christ.
