Below are opportunities to serve in the church, in the community, and in the world at large. Children's Ministry

Contact Mary Caroline:

1. Sunday Morning Sonbeams Teacher

Time Commitment: The 2nd and 4th Sunday mornings during second service (11am)

Ministry Description: The Sonbeams (ages 4 to Kindergarten) teacher will plan and prep the lesson plan for each Sunday and teach the bible lesson. An adult helper or junior volunteer is provided to help implement the weekly schedule. Must be 18 years or older to be a teacher.

2. Sunday Morning Elementary Helper

Time Commitment: Two Sunday mornings a month during second service (11am)

Ministry Description: The elementary helper will assist the Elementary teacher with implementing the weekly schedule: helping children sit for the bible lesson, interacting with the children and building relationships with them, possibly leading a small group in prayer and the weekly worksheet, coordinating with the main teacher to present the connection story or leading a game. An adult is needed for this ministry volunteer spot.

3. Wednesday Night Teacher

Time Commitment: Every Wednesday night from 6:15 to 8:15pm for one quarter (9 weeks)

Ministry Description: The Wednesday night teacher will lead/implement a mini lesson with a group of children (ages 1 to 8). The mini lesson will consist of a bible video or story, a science experiment, and an easy craft or game. Must be 18 years or older for this spot.

4. Wednesday Night Helper

Time Commitment: Every Wednesday night from 6:15 to 8:15pm for one quarter (9 weeks)

Ministry Description: The Wednesday night helper will support the teacher as they lead/implement a mini lesson: helping children sit for the bible lesson, interacting with the children and building relationships with them, setting and cleaning up snack and a craft or game. A helper can be an adult or youth.

5. Ministry Title: Stay N Play Family Connector

Time Commitment: Every other Friday morning from 9:15 to 11:45am until the end of May

Ministry Description: A Stay N Play family connector attends Stay N Play each week with the sole task of connecting with the parents and children that attend the sessions, while being available to answer questions about Trinity, Jesus, and the hope that we have.

Student Ministries

1. Sunday Morning Youth Leader

Time Commitment: 11:00 - 12:30pm, Sunday morning & occasional youth events

2. Wednesday Evening Small Group Leader

Time Commitment: 6:30 - 8:00pm Wednesday, couple hours prep time during the week, & occasional youth events

3. One on One Youth Mentor

Time Commitment: One to two hours weekly

2. Tech Ministry

Ministry Description: Do you enjoy serving others through communication? Everything in church on Sunday morning is filtered through Tech Ministry. We are always looking for a skilled and dedicated team to help with the following:

  • Video
  • Computers

3. Hospitality Ministry

Time Commitment: When scheduled, requires 1-2 hours Sunday morning

Ministry Description: This important ministry is truly the face of Trinity Church, the first impression. The skills needed are simple, love people and make them feel accepted; but the ministry is vital.

  • Greeters - Welcome people as they come through the doors, tell them about free coffee, offer a bulletin, offer to make them a nametag and offer assistance finding where children’s ministry is located
  • Ushers- Help people feel safe by assisting with seating as well as passing the offering bags and managing the offering.
  • Café - Offer a friendly smile and a cup of coffee.

Trinity Church Office

Time Commitment: Various Times Tuesday through Friday—8:30 AM - 4:00 PM as needed

Ministry Description:

Have you had any office experience or would you like to gain office experience?

Come join the office team. As Trinity grows and the office becomes busier it becomes necessary to put together an office team to serve in this capacity. We need volunteers willing to be trained to fill in to be the face of Trinity Church at the front desk when the regular office persons are sick or on vacation. Also needed occasionally are those interested in a one time or special project.

1. Teachers and Leaders

Time Commitment: Varies

Ministry Description: We need teachers!  Are you interested in teaching a bible study, leading a small group, or starting a ministry? Contact Pastor Joel to find out how you can receive training, support, and the opportunity to teach and lead at Trinity Church.

2. Resource Center Manager

Time Commitment: Initial organizational time will take 20-35 hours over several weeks.  Maintenance should be 1-2 hours a week.

Ministry Description: The Resource Center Manager will be responsible for providing operational leadership for the Resource Center Ministry and work alongside the Pastoral staff to facilitate the spiritual growth of our church community through resources and materials available in the resource center. He/she will also be responsible for the creative displaying and promoting of the Resource Center as well as the recruiting, training, and leading of volunteer teams to staff the resource center.
