LIFE groups afford a smaller group environment where people can really connect with others and experience growth in their spiritual lives and in their relationships with each other.

What are the principles of a LIFE group?

• L — Love for God and each other

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. . . You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
     — Mark 12:30-31

• I — Involvement in one another's lives

. . . a place to experience the community of the body of Christ.

• F — Fruit as maturing disciples of Christ

. . . the fruit of maturity, the fruit of the Spirit, and the fruit of seeing lives around us drawn closer to Jesus.

• E — Extension of the body of Christ

. . . a place to reach beyond the church's walls to know and care for people still on their journey towards Jesus.

What's a LIFE group like?

LIFE groups meet at different times during the week, both on the Trinity Church campus and in people's homes. A typical group will include 6 to 20 people and meet for about 60 to 90 minutes each week. Some groups differ in focus or emphasis, although each typically includes time to get to know each other, time in the Bible, discussion of practical real-life applications, and prayer. It is a safe environment to ask questions and participate to whatever depth you are comfortable!
