The Swansons’ Evangelism Outreach

Jay and Diane work in a Mormon community in Utah. Outreach occurs through children's and teen clubs, door-to-door and literature evangelism, and small Bible studies.

Recently they began having a service on Sunday mornings with a few interested seekers.

Six summer camps keep them busy as they prepare the grounds, cook, and counsel. Camp is a great opportunity for in-depth time with young people, many of whom are compelled by family to attend Mormon churches during the year.

In their prison ministry Jay and Diane work with men who often attended Sunday School as children. A number of men take Bible courses and participate in a Bible study Jay leads.

Prayer points:

  • For God's Word to change the lives of children and teens attending Bible studies and for their families to discover salvation through Christ.

  • For prisoners to respond to the gospel.

  • For believers to grow in spite of ostracism from families and neighbors.

  • For opportunities to share the gospel.
